What You'll Build
- Intelligence APIs that digest market data and surface actionable insights
- Automated workflows that eliminate manual busywork from deal sourcing to reporting
- Data infrastructure that tames messy, multi-source financial and network datasets
- AI agents that analyze investment memos and flag opportunities humans might miss
- Real integrations with Affinity, Pitchbook, Harmonic that actually work (no duct tape, we promise)
Our stack: Node.js/TypeScript, Azure/GCP/AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, SQS, RDS, EventBridge, AppRunner), SST/Terraform, Next.js, React, SQL/NoSQL, Python for AI & ML, Snowflake.
But honestly—if you think in system design and ship clean code, the stack is just details.
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves:
- 3-5+ years backend engineering where you owned real features end-to-end
- System thinking that goes beyond single features—you understand how your work fits into the bigger picture
- Generalist DNA—comfortable jumping between backend APIs, data models, and frontend when needed
- Learning mindset—you're genuinely curious about new tech and approaches; you actually read the docs
- Clear communication in Spanish and English—you can explain complex decisions to your teammates
- Work ethic that goes beyond "good enough"—you take pride in elegant solutions and robust systems
What Good Looks Like:
- You've built production systems that real users depend on
- You understand trade-offs and can make smart technical decisions for your features
- You know when to optimize and when "good enough" ships faster
